The Greater Birmingham CVB has partnered with Wunderfan, a Birmingham based sports fan rewards app, to elevate the experience for visiting JLAB Birmingham Bowl fans. By using Wunderfan, fans can turn their attendence into tangible rewards simply by enjoying the city’s premier event and surrounding activations.
Visitors who use the app will be able to earn “Wunder” points for their engagement, which can include attending the bowl game and official bowl events, interacting with local partner content, and participating in unique in-app challenges. These points are redeemable for rewards such as e-gift cards from major retailers, exclusive discounts, and official JLab Birmingham Bowl merchandise and experiences.
That’s where you come in. We are asking for Birmingham businesses to participate in making this the most rewarding experience for visiting fans by offering rewards that can be added to the app and showcase the products, services and experiences Birmingham has to offer.
What We Are Asking
Birmingham Bowl Shop
The app will include a custom Birmingham Bowl Shop to house rewards, offers and products from sponsors and local businesses. This will be the go to companion app for fans attending the Birmingham Bowl, giving them access to offers that enhance their time in Birmingham.
To make this a worthwhile experience for visitors, we are asking Birmingham businesses to provide us with rewards to include in the shop. We are essentially making this app the “key to the city” for fans in town for the game, driving them to visit local stores and restaurants, redeem offers from local businesses, and ultimately engage with Birmingham brands.
